virtual conference 01-04.09.2020, Warsaw, Poland

The Warsaw Molecular Electronic Structure (WMES) virtual conference is organized by the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.
WMES gathers scientists working in the field of molecular electronic structure calculations and related areas.
The conference will have a virtual character, all lectures will be broadcasted online and the registration fee is waived.

The virtual meeting will be held using Zoom software. Meeting ID alongside with Passcode will be sent to registered users email addresses prior to the Conference start. Participants may join the meeting from computer, tablet or smartphone either via Zoom Client or directly through any modern Internet browser.

The conference follows the conference and series of workshops on Molecular Electronic Structure, which took place in:

  • Metz, France (2018),
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina (2016),
  • Amasya, Turkey (2014),
  • Cannakale, Turkey (2012).
For the meeting of 2018 look at https://mesm.event.univ-lorraine.fr.

Main topics:

  • Explicitly correlated basis sets,
  • Relativistic and QED effects in molecular and atomic spectra,
  • Quantum chemistry beyond gaussians,
  • Electron correlation treatment,
  • Quantum Monte Carlo,
  • DFT and beyond,
  • Sturmian functions and more.
